2022This idea for the painting came to mind during the road trip I made with my love and my 2cv along the coast of France. Like many of my paintings, it is a mixture of reality, dreams and memories which creates an image of an imagined reality and lets you be a part of this journey.

Still far to go
2016Story of a trekking over the mountains on the road to a better life. On the painting to see palace Soestdijk (the former royal Dutch palace) as an oasis for an approaching storm that arrives over the mountains. The girl wraps the cloak around her for protection against the winds. After the painting was completed nearly four years.
