The drawing depicts a bright red, classic armchair that stands out strikingly against an otherwise grey beach scene. Next to the chair lies a closed book, whilst to the right a wine bottle and a half-full glass stand in the sand. In the background, gentle waves roll in, creating a dreamy and almost surreal atmosphere.
