In this pencil drawing, a solitary, hooded figure sits in a bright red wingback armchair, gazing up at a dark, cloudy sky. The sky is filled with a dreamlike flight of numerous red biplanes and other vintage aircraft, which stand out starkly against the grey surroundings.
At his feet lie more red toy aeroplanes, whilst in the distance a faint city skyline and an old Citroën 2CV can be seen, lending the scene a nostalgic and surreal atmosphere.
